Here at Lively Kids we are anxiously anticipating the arrival of Tea’s latest collection inspired by Oaxaca and Chiapas Mexico.
To inspire you as well, here is a sneak peek at the collection and a few words from the co-founder and co-owner of Tea, Emily Meyer.
JARDIN AZUL
We fell in love with Mexico’s gardens and courtyards, pottery and painted patterns of blue.
A thousand peacocks showed us their feathers, we saw exotic bird of paradise plants everywhere. We strolled through many manicured gardens (some of them secret) and had our first encounter with the mystical Mesoamerican Nahual influences.
Oh, and the food – squash blossom quesadillas, fresh tacos and street food stands. We started to feel just like we might have the power to transform ourselves into fantastical animals or metropolitan
Mexican adventurers.
We took that magic back home with us and created a fall preview full of two-tone azul bird and flower prints and colorful graphics with a Mayan spirit.
